Mrs. Agnes Ree Hill Tribble, 96, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at her residence.  She was born April 17, 1924 in Scobey to Earl and Belle Pollan Hill.

Agnes was a retired Avon sales representative.  She began selling Avon 68 years ago on January 22, 1953.  Through the years, Agnes was recognized as a Top Sales Representative in the product categories of skin care, cosmetics and Christmas products.  She was also the Top Seller in the local district and in the Top 100 in the State of Mississippi most of her Avon career.  In Grenada, Agnes was fondly referred to as the "Avon Lady."  During her 55 year career, Agnes received many prizes and trips for being recognized as a Top Sales Representative.

While making a career in Avon was a priority, nothing was more important to her than her family.  She was a devoted wife to G.L. for over seventy years and was a loving and doting mother to "her girls" who were truly the apple of her eye.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a highlight of her life.  Very much a "people person", Agnes never met a stranger.  She loved her God, her Sunday school class and her church, First Baptist Church Grenada where she was a faithful member for over 65 years.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 4, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Dr. Jim Nunnelee and Dr. John Boler officiating.  Interment will follow in the Wayside Cemetery at Scobey.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday at McKibben and Guinn.

She is survived by her three daughters, Dianne Payne(Preston), Sandra Tribble and Becky Carson(Larry), all of Grenada; three grandchildren, Tara Carson Cote(Andy) of Madison, MS, Amy Payne Slane(Wayne) of Springdale, AR and Joel Linton Carson of Grenada; five great-grandchildren, Haley Cote, Emily Putt, Linton Carson, Carson Cote and Logan Carson; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Pearl Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 70 years, Gabe Linton Tribble; three sisters, Earline Hill, Kathryn Harrison and Jenelle Geiger; four brothers, Johnny Hill, J.B. Hill, Earl Hill, Jr. and Charles Hill.

Pallbearers will be Joel Carson, Andy Cote, Wayne Slane, Tommy Hill, Stan Martin, David Smith, Linton Carson, Carson Cote, Logan Carson, Craig Carson, Steve Martin, J.C. Pollan, Jake Tribble and J Lynn Tribble.
