Mrs. Alene Reynolds Rogers, 87, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at her residence.  She was born October 22, 1937 in Big Creek to Rex and Edna Alma Smallwood Reynolds.  Mrs. Rogers worked for several years at Liberty Supermarket in Grenada and later joined the staff of the Grenada Tax Assessor/Collector's office where she retired.  She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and had served in numerous positions through the years including Church Secretary and Treasurer.  A voracious reader, she loved the written word and spent countless hours reading in her spare time.  While we mourn her passing, we find comfort in knowing she held in her soul the cure to death, a relationship with Jesus Christ.  This is not goodbye, but see you later.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Chuck Provine officiating.  Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery at Big Creek.  The family will receive friends from noon until service time Tuesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry L. Rogers of Grenada; sons, Jimmy Lee Rogers, II(Rhonda) of Marshall County and Barry Rogers(Carla) of Grenada; sister, Nancy Ruth Jones of Grenada; five grandchildren, Adrienne Estes(Matt), Kyle Rogers(Kimberly), Jessica Rogers, Brittany Carter(John) and Alex Rogers; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmy Lee Rogers; sisters, Mayford Voyles, Ruby York and Juanita May and a brother, Willie Smallwood.
