Alice Spell Duncan, 79, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada. She was born October 16, 1939 in Belzoni to Bardy and Frances Caldwell Spell. Alice was a devoted homemaker and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving, caring mother, grandmother and sister. She was a precious soul who will be missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Moore's Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County with Rev. Lanny Haley officiating.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Valenti (Craig) of Fairhope, AL; one sister, Jean Spell Ferguson(Lee) of Grenada; one brother, Thadd Spell(Opal) of Greenwood; two grandsons, Christian and Joseph Valenti; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Michael Johnson.
