Mrs. Alice Fancher Granholm, 59, of Gore Springs, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at her residence.  She was born October 12, 1962 in Greenwood to Louis and Norma Bussy Fancher.  Alice worked as an RN at Grenada Lake Medical Center, later UMMC, for over 20 years.  Prior to retirement, Alice was an Instructor in the CNA Program at Mississippi Delta Community College.  She was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church in Grenada.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Grace Baptist Church with Dr. Kevin Jackson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time Sunday at the church .

Survivors include her husband, Michael Granholm; father, Louis Fancher, II of Greenwood; daughter, Courtney Backman(Spencer) of Salt Lake City, UT; son, Eric Granholm(Annie) of Austin, TX; three sisters, Marilynn Clark of Blackhawk; Patsy Stroupe of Atlanta, GA and Sandra Hurt on Greenwood; two brothers, Buddy Louis Fancher, III of Duck Hill and Eddie Fancher of Greenwood; and one granddaughter, Eleanor Backman.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Pallbearers will be Hugh Austin, Steve Hayes, Barry McDonald, Dr. Joe Roberts, John Willcoxon and Roger Wright.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
