Ms. Alice Jean Rounsaville Mahaffey, 80, of Brandon and a native of Grenada, peacefully passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at her residence with her family by her side.

Alice spent much of her working life as a Specialist with Verizon, where she dedicated many years of faithful service. While she valued her career, her greatest joy was found in the time she spent with her family and cherished friends. She especially enjoyed shopping excursions and dining out with her closest companions, creating countless memories filled with laughter and fellowship.

A devoted grandmother, Alice was the very definition of a loving and doting grandparent. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren and was always present to offer her love, encouragement, and support. Her warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Dr. Brent Barker officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery at Oxberry. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Wednesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her daughter, Angie Moncrief(Mike) of Brandon; sister, Sue Collums of Canton; brother, David Rounsaville of Grenada; and her three precious grandchildren, Alyssa Moncrief of Tampa, FL, Holly Moncrief & Patrick Moncrief, both of Brandon.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents.
