Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Allen DeLoach, 82, of Oxford, a long-time resident of Grenada, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at The Blake in Oxford. She was born September 24, 1936 in Grenada to William Leroy "Ned" Allen and Deziree Woodard Allen. She had worked for many years as a District Clerk at the Grenada County Soil and Water Conservation District and had conducted numerous continuing education workshops over the years for the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality for school teachers. She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada and will be remembered as a loving and devoted Granny.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 1, 2019 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Dr. Brent Barker officiating. Private burial will follow in the Holcomb Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time Monday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include two daughters, Susan DeLoach Marascalco and Betty DeLoach Morgan, both of Oxford; one sister, Jean Allen Campbell of Oxford; five grandchildren, Jennifer Russell(John), Andrew Marascalco, Chase Morgan, Addison Morgan and Mackenzie Morgan; three great-grandchildren, John Alden Russell, Sumner Russell and Sawyer Marascalco.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wayne Hovis DeLoach.
