Mrs. Richard Ann McCoy, 88, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her residence. She was born February 25, 1938, in Walnut, to Richard Howard Mohundro and Sarah Lois Keith Mohundro.

Ann was a devoted homemaker who worked tirelessly to make her house a home. She had a gift for welcoming others—going out of her way to make people in her presence feel comfortable, valued, and cared for. She quietly helped many who were in need throughout her lifetime.

Ann also diligently supported her husband, Bob McCoy, for decades in their family business, McCoy’s Tire and Appliance.

She was a member of First Baptist Church – Grenada.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Zach Sanford officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Tuesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Perry(Alvin) of Grenada; son, Richard Michael McCoy of Grenada; daughter-in-law, Cindy McCoy of Grenada; sister, Judy Bailey of Coldwater; six grandchildren, Michael McCoy(Abi), John Robert McCoy, Al Perry(Monica), Rycha Perry(Dalton), Jarad Braddy-Haney(Jared) and Jawan Elliott; and seven great-grandchildren, Tripp, Lelynn, Abby, Tucker, Tripp, Jordan and Dax.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob McCoy; son, Mack McCoy and a sister, Ruby Lois Bell.

Jarad Braddy-Haney, Michael McCoy, Mike McCoy, Al Perry, Alvin Perry and Dalton Thomas will honor Ann by serving as pallbearers.
