Mrs. Ann Lane Miles, 86, of Grenada, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 in McComb, MS. She was born December 22, 1934 in Union Parish, LA to Minor B. and Norma Hicks Lane. Ann earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Delta State University and enjoyed a long career as an educator in Grenada. Following her time in the classroom, Ann worked for the United States Postal Service as a Rural Letter Carrier. She was a devoted member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, June 11, 2021 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada with Dr. Jim Richards and Dr. Gaines Miles officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday evening at McKibben and Guinn and one hour prior to the service Friday at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Carol Miles Reeves(Mike) of McComb and Cindy Miles Johnson(Chip) of Madison; two grandsons, Robert Michael Reeves and Miles McCrillis Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Ansley Rivers Reeves and Ridge Gentry Reeves; niece, Debbie Lane Pitchford(David) of Lumberton, TX and their two daughters and grandchildren; nephew, James Richards(June) of Keller, TX as well as his two daughters and son and their children; cousins, Inez Griffin, and Dennis Kyle(Tinnie Mae); her extended family, Lois Miles Gore, Linda Miles Meyer(John), Bonnie Miles McMullan, Gaines E. Miles(Judy), Mike Miles(Carolyn) and Hayes Miles along with a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Minor Lane; her husband, Victor Earl Miles, Jr.; sister, Betty L. Richards(James); and a brother, M.B. Lane(Ophelia).
