Anna Margaret Chesteen Nail went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 23, 2017. She was born September 27, 1933 in Montgomery County, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Tallie Chesteen and her husband, Charles Nail.
She is survived by her brother, Charles Chesteen of Nellysford, VA; sister, Katherine Hardy and husband Melvin Hardy of Fort Gibson, OK; sister, Minnie Hazel Bain of Southaven, MS; six nieces, Pamela Wolfe (Philip) of Virginia, Vanessa O'Connor (John) of California, Katrina Whiteday (Greg) of Oklahoma, Yvonne Akins (Tommy) of Mississippi, Karen Burns of Tennessee and Kathy Thomas of Arkansas; 2 nephews, Jeffry Hardy (Amy) of Oklahoma and Charles Bain of Mississippi. She also leaves five great-nieces, four great-nephews, one great-great-niece and four great-great-nephews as well as a host of cousins, friends and church family that she loved very much. She was a member of Elliott Baptist Church in Grenada, Mississippi and a retired telephone operator for Southern Bell Telephone Company.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 27, 2017 at Elliott Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Brinker officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Carroll County. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time Monday at the church.
