Mrs. Annette Holland Smith, 61, of Grenada, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at Grace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Grenada. She was born August 27, 1954 in Charleston, MS. She retired after having worked at Luvata in Grenada for over 32 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, January 4, 2016 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Barry Worrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday evening and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Mike Smith of Grenada; two sons, Michael D. Smith, Jr. and his wife, Carrie of Southaven and Chris Smith and his wife, Kathrin of Grenada; her mother and step-father, Sally and Russell Woods of Grenada; a brother, Roger D. Holland of Grenada and three grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Hannah Smith and Jack Henry Smith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur D. "Sonny" Holland and a sister, Diane H. Morgan.
