Mr. Archie Roan Dunn, Jr., 71, of Holcomb, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born February 1, 1945 in Grenada to Archie Roan, Sr. and Lila Thompson Dunn. He was a graduate of John Rundle High School and Delta State University where he majored in accounting. He was a member of Holcomb Baptist Church.
A private family graveside service will be held Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Sparta Cemetery near Holcomb with Rev. Kevin Tribble officiating.
Survivors include two sisters, Lucille Steele of Greenwood and Rose Ann Taylor and her husband, Norris of Grenada; three nieces, Cathy Haltom, Kaye Schroeder and Margaret Kowalczyk; one nephew, Scott Taylor and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Alan Taylor.
