Barbara Bratton Proctor 68, was born August 26th , 1952 to Mary Catherine Tillman Bratton and Eugene Bratton in Grenada County. She passed away at her residence on Sunday, February 14th, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donnie Eugene Bratton and cousin/brother Kenny W. Newman.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynsie P Carpenter (Travis) and three grandsons, whom she adored, Bratton Bailey Willoughby, Peyton Proctor Willoughby and Thomas Travis Carpenter IV. Two sisters, Shirley B McNeer and Libby B McPhail (Wayne).  Nieces, Stephanie Evans Walker, Amy H. Hartley (Houston), Laney E McNeer and Genie McNeer.  Great Nieces, Ava Catherine Bondurant, Hannah Grace Hartley. Great Nephews, Adam Hartley and Fitz Gary.

Barbara loved her family and loved spending time with them. She had a true love for animals, especially dogs and cats. She was always trying to help find homeless animals good loving homes.

Barbara was a fun-loving soul. She truly enjoyed all music, especially Jimmy Buffett. She was a true Parrot Head. Barbara graduated John Rundle High School Grenada and attended Northwest Community College. In her working day she serves as office manager and Realtor with McNeer Timber and Realty. She enjoyed subbing in the Grenada School District most recently.

A Memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.

Barbara will be missed by all that loved her.
