Mrs. Barbara Jean Gibbs, 83, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at her residence.  She was born March 28, 1937 in Front Royal, VA to Basil and Ruth Willis Hudson.  Barbara was a devoted homemaker and attended Hebron Baptist Church.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada with Rev. Chris Accardy officiating.  A visitation with the family will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Wednesday at Grace Presbyterian Church in Grenada.  Social distancing must be observed and limited numbers of people will be allowed in the church at one time.

Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Crouch(Don) of Holcomb, Bonnie Starnes of Grenada and Jennifer Campbell of Grenada; two sons, Mark Hanback of Brandon and Mike Hanback(Pat) of Virginia; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul D. Gibbs, Sr.; daughter, Vicky Sanders; son, Paul D. Gibbs, Jr.; grandson, Trey Campbell; two sisters and three brothers.

Pallbearers will be Scott Malone, Johnathan Morgan, Noah Morgan, Jacob Mullen, Joseph Starnes, Tyler Starnes and Eddie Willis.  Honorary Pallbearers will be George Bailey, Jeremy Crouch, Tommy Marshall, Sammie Simmers and Tayler Starnes.
