Ms. Barbara Boisvert McChesney, 96, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at her residence.  She was born September 8, 1923 in Lawrence, MA to Joseph C. and Mabel Johnson Boisvert.  Barbara spent most of her working life as a court reporter and her latter years as a legal secretary, working up to the age of 87.  Barbara knew the importance of community involvement and enriching the lives of others.  She enjoyed working with Meals on Wheels and in the Adult Literacy Program.  She was a Methodist.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial plans are private.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Domingue of Grenada, JoAnne Harvin of Asheville, NC and Susan McChesney Atkins of Memphis; sister, Dorothy Broderick of Mechanicsburg, PA; a special friend, Renee Marascalco of Grenada; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
