Mr. Benjamin Francis Griffin, 87, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015. He was born September 19, 1928 in Neshoba County to Roy B. and Neva Breland Griffin. He was a retired purchasing manager with the Mississippi Department of Transportation and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada with Dr. Brent Barker officiating. Interment will follow in the Senatobia Memorial Garden in Senatobia, MS. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time Tuesday at the church.
Survivors include a son, Mark Griffin and his wife, Lucy of Grenada; two granddaughters, Kristin Reynolds of Brandon, MS and Sara McArthur of Hattiesburg; three great-granddaughters, Lucy Kate McArthur and Annie McArthur both of Hattiesburg and Eliza Reynolds of Brandon; and one great-grandson, Addington Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Mullen Griffin; a sister, Marion Hardy and a brother, Kline Griffin.
