Bessie Dee Williams Hill, age 101, went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2017. She was born July 28, 1915. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and had worked as a private caregiver.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. Interment will follow in the Duck Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Glynn Hill of Kosciusko, MS; two daughters, Frances Hill Charnes (Larry) and Doris Hill Koonce both of Olive Branch, MS; 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Hill; her parents Ethel Williams Wright and Charles Williams; three infant children; two sons, James Hill and B.T. Hill and daughters, Rose Hill Edwards and Jean Carlisle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Longview Heights Baptist Church Special Needs Ministry in Olive Branch, MS.
