Mrs. Betty Ruth Gatlin Lott, 77, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026 at her grandson’s residence in Starkville. She was born July 6, 1949 in Cleveland to Earl Samuel Gatlin and Elsie Maudell Roberson Gatlin. Betty retired from the Bakery at Piggly Wiggly in Grenada. She enjoyed gardening and cooking delicious meals for her beloved family. Betty was a deeply devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, August 7, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. J. Barry Worrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie Livingston(Beverly) of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Jason Hodges, Rob Livingston, Garrett Turner and Cole Turner; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Steve Lott; daughter, Donna Livingston Smith and a sister, Sue Jara.

Pallbearers will be Jason Hodges, Josh Tolbert, Cole Turner, Garrett Turner, Karson Turner and Skylar Turner.
