Mrs. Betty Joyce Webb Tassin, 85, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  She was born March 26, 1936 in Mobile, AL to James Robert and Elizabeth Wallace Webb.  Mrs. Tassin owned and operated Tassin Jewelers in Grenada for many years.  She was truly a "people person", gifted with the ability to put those around her at ease and being a skilled conversationalist.  She loved to laugh and always had a kind word to share with those in her presence.  While reading and gardening were among her many hobbies, playing cards was something she never grew tired of.  She was a member of Petal-Harvey Baptist Church.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, December 16, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Hugh Nelson and Rev. Tim McCaffrey officiating.  Private inurnment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.  Family and friends will gather from 4:00 PM until service time Thursday evening at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include two sons, Roger Tassin(Christie) of Holcomb and Don Tassin(Dawn) of Petal; four grandchildren, Matthew Tassin, Megan Clark, Whitley Tassin and Abbye Blackwell; and two great-grandchildren, Aven Claire Clark and Mari Allen Tassin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee Allen Tassin and two brothers, James Wallace "Butch" Webb and Raymond Ernest Webb.
