Mr. William Earl "Bill" Pullen, 74, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was born September 9, 1943 in Lodi to Oliver LaGrone and Grace Salley Pullen. He was retired from Heatcraft after working for over 32 years. Bill was also a former Grenada Police Officer. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 12, 2018 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Dr. Jim Nunnelee and Dr. John Boler officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Sunday evening and one hour prior to the service Monday all at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Betty Whitten Pullen; daughter, Beverly Pullen Allbritton (Jamie) of Grenada; son, Billy Pullen of Grenada; two sisters, Mary Lou Dixon of Webster County and Sally Belle Porter of Eupora; two brothers, Roy Pullen (Brenda) of Reform, AL and Dan Pullen (Cindy) of Tillatoba; three grandchildren, Coty Rasbury, Jake Allbritton and Taylor Allbritton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sue Helen Marlow and a brother, John Pullen.
Pallbearers will be Jake Allbritton, Jamie Allbritton, Chuck Brooks, Coty Rasbury Josh White and Jessie Whitten.
