William Thompson (Bill) West Sr, 84, of Collierville, TN, passed away on Friday October 21, 2022. Bill was born March 23, 1938, to Lottie and Fletcher West of Tupelo, MS. Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris, brothers Jerry West and Jimmy West, children Bill West Jr, Debbie Newell, Mark West, nine grandchildren, Nelly Newell Mayo, Chase Newell, Austin Newell, Tatum West Wagner, Taylor West Fanning, Will West, Chandler West, Drew West, Eli West and six great grandchildren, with two on the way.

Bill was a lifelong member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada, MS and attended Dr. Tom Holden's Sunday School Class. Bill was a 1961 graduate of the University of MS, retired from the State of MS Audit Department, after a long career at Grenada Livestock Exchange. Bill was an avid golfer, loved his Ole Miss Rebels, family and friends. He was a faithful, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McKibben & Guinn Funeral Home in Grenada, MS on Monday October 24, 2022, at 2:00 PM. Family and friends will gather one hour prior for visitation at McKibben & Guinn. Graveside will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada.

Honorary Pallbearers are Chase Newell, Austin Newell, Will West, Drew West and Eli West.
