Mrs. Billie Stribling Cox, 85, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Grenada Health and Rehab. She was born February 4, 1932 in Bruce to Ben and Edith Schiele Stribling.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 3, 2018 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Barry Worrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Pittsboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include a daughter, Doylene Lindsey and her husband, Freddie of Grenada; one brother, Donald Stribling of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Jacob Lindsey and his wife, Beth of Jackson and Amanda Snell and her husband, Allen of Grenada; five great-grandchildren, Eli Black, Dylan Black, Camerann Snell, Cade Snell and Charley Lindsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clovis Cox; one sister, Etoile Doak and two brothers, Vick and Jimmy Stribling.

Pallbearers will be Randy Kirk, Freddie Lindsey, Jacob Lindsey, Jake McKenzie, Ronnie Patterson and Richard Stribling.
