Mrs. Billie Faye Nail, 77, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at her daughter's residence in Cleveland. She was born October 16, 1941 in Montgomery County, Mississippi to Herbert Jefferson and Lola Fay Jordan Marter. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she was the church secretary and taught in the nursery, she was also formerly employed by AAA Cooper. She was a devoted wife to Sonny and a wonderful cook.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 4, 2019 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada. The family will receive friends from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include one daughter, Tracy Swafford(Ronald) of Cleveland; one son, Mark Nail(Carol Ann) of New Albany; two sisters, Shelby H. Harrison of Laurel Hill, FL. and Diane M. Jones of Southaven; five grandchildren, Jonathan Mark Nail, Jefferson Chandler Nail, Parker Regan Nail, Kyle Sheldon Swafford and Katherine Corinne Swafford; beloved sister-in-laws, Willie Paul Dubois and Francis Hunter; and one nephew, James Henry Carpenter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Walter Thurl "Sonny" Nail; and two sister-in-laws, Shirley Nail Gilder and Dorothy Nail Abel.

Memorials may be made to the Gideons or Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Mark Nail, Jefferson Chandler Nail, Parker Regan Nail, Kyle Sheldon Swafford, Jay Carpenter and Ted Wolfe. Honorary pallbearers will be James Henry Carpenter and James Irby Franklin.
