Mr. Billy Joe Allbritton, Sr., 76, of Grenada, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, October 2, 2026. Billy Joe was born September 19, 1950, in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, to Charles Leslie Allbritton and Robbie Maybell Kendall Allbritton. From a young age, he developed a strong work ethic that would shape the course of his entire life—and one that he made sure to instill in his children as well.

Billy Joe built something truly special when he established Mississippi Wholesale Lubricants and Grenada Golf Cart Sales. These businesses gave him far more than a livelihood—they gave him the awesome opportunity to work side by side with his family each and every day, a blessing he cherished deeply.

An avid outdoorsman at heart, Billy Joe was a cattleman who also found joy in hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden. Billy Joe was a faithful member of Stonefield Church of God, where he served for many years as Church Clerk, along with many other roles. His dedication to his church family reflected the same loyalty and hard work he brought to everything in his life.

Billy Joe Allbritton, Sr. leaves behind a legacy built on faith, family, and an unmatched work ethic. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and friend who showed his love not just in words, but in the life he built and shared with those closest to him.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Stonefield Church of God with Rev. Vernon Groce and Rev. Rickey Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery at Cascilla. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Sunday at Stonefield Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Allbritton; daughter, Michelle Rideout(Quint) of Cascilla; sons, Billy Joe “Joey” Allbritton, Jr.(Misty) of Duck Hill and Ryan Allbritton of Grenada; brother, Dody Allbritton(Amanda) of Grenada; eight grandchildren, Jake Rideout(Daley), Connor Rideout(Ellie), Bailey Allbritton(Hannah), Sydney Allbritton, Emma Allbritton, Swayze Allbritton, Raelynn Allbritton and Noah Morgan; and four great-grandchildren, John Warren Rideout, Grayson Rideout, Riley Kate Rideout and Reece Rideout.

Billy Joe was welcomed into Heaven by his parents and two sisters, Debra Lindsey and Bonnie Wolfe.

Bailey Allbritton, Josh Allbritton, Noah Morgan, Connor Rideout, Jake Rideout, Corey Wells and Jerry Wolfe, Jr., will honor Billy Joe by serving as pallbearers. Ralph “Bo” Prestidge, Mikey Williams and Merrill Winters will serve as honorary pallbearers.
