Robert H. (Bob) Bennett passed away Feb. 4, 2019 at his home. Bob was born December 7, 1956, in Grenada to Houston and Olene Bennett. Bob worked for the City of Grenada for several years before the progression of McArdle's Disease stopped him from having the strength and stability to continue his work. One aspect of his work with the city was the creation of scaled-down buildings reflecting the various businesses around the Square in Grenada.  These were on display as part of the city's Christmas decorations. Prior to working with the city, he worked with his father in home construction.  Bob was also a well-trained trim carpenter and had excelled in that work for several years.

Bob was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by a daughter Kirby Vaught (Sam) of Brandon and a son Nicholas Bennett of Columbus.
He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Hayes Vaught (7) and Ollie Vaught (3) of Brandon.

Friends and family are invited to attend a come and go memorial service on Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 10:00-11:30 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Home, 4817 Commerce St., Grenada, MS 38901. His children would love to hear all of your memories of Bob and want to thank all that loved him.
