Mrs. Bobbie Jean Bennett Fowler, 85, of Southaven, a Duck Hill native, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Desoto in Southaven.  She was born October 28, 1935 in Montgomery County to Alton and Elva Tingle Bennett.  Bobbie worked for a number of years at Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada as well as Sears.  She enjoyed making pottery and woodworking.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Red Hill Cemetery near Duck Hill.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Fowler of Southaven; one sister, Sandra Shepherd of Winona; four brothers, Wayne Bennett of Dothan, AL, Larry Bennett of Grenada, Jerry Bennett of Southaven and Mike Bennett of Lake Cormorant; three grandchildren, Brandon Fowler, Cortni Teutsch and Casey Fowler; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew Oliver Fowler; sister, Helen Roberts; and six brothers, Alton, Jr., Paul, James Terry, Glenn, Danny and Charles Bennett.
