Ms. Bobbie Rae Mitchell Williams, 74, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford following a brief illness. She was born March 23, 1945 in Grenada County to Melton Rae and Polly Davis Mitchell. Bobbie retired after working over 25 years at the USDA Farm Service Agency in Coffeeville. She was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church near Coffeeville and Friendship Baptist Church in Grenada where she served on numerous committees and was always willing to serve. Truly a people person, Bobbie will be remembered for her quick wit and sweet spirit. While her death leaves a hole in many hearts, we find peace in knowing she has seen Jesus face to face and joins many loved ones who have gone before her.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church in Grenada with Rev. Tim McCaffery and Rev. Reed McCaleb officiating. Private burial will follow in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Yalobusha County. Family and friends will gather from 10:00 AM until service time Saturday at the church.

Survivors include two daughters, Tonia Bailey of Water Valley and Autumn McMinn of Sturgis; two sisters, her twin, Billie McCracken(Samy) of Grenada and Anne Lee(L.D.) of Crystal Springs; two brothers, Buddy Mitchell and Paul Mitchell(Debbie) both of Grenada; and three grandchildren, Cole Bailey, Anna Claire Phillips and Devin Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Robert "Hatchet" Williams.

Pallbearers will be Coley Little Bailey, Terry Jones, Wayne Roberts, Hal Vaughn, Joe Walton and Ben Wright.
