Mrs. Bobbye Roberts Byrd, 86, of Grenada, passed away January 5, 2026 at her residence.  She was born June 12, 1939 in Belzoni to Eugene Roberts and Elma Jeffcoat Roberts.  Bobby graduated from Mississippi Delta Community College at Moorhead. She worked as a phone operator at the Vicksburg hospital for over 30 years. She will missed by all who knew her.

Memorial service plans are private.

Survivors include her daughter, Johna Traylor; son, John(Chuck) C. Byrd, Jr.; and three grandchildren, Mackenzie Traylor, Peyton Traylor(Katelin) and Schuyler Byrd; four sisters, Carolyn Kent(Ray), Connie Paxton(Bobby), Bonnie Brown(Donnie) and Mona Wise(Tommy); one brother, Walter Roberts and numerous cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Elma Roberts; her husband, John C. Byrd; and brothers, Bill Roberts, James Roberts, Sam Roberts, Paul "Bubba" Roberts and Edward Roberts.
