Brian Griffin Jones, 36, of Coffeeville, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. He was born August 10, 1979 in Water Valley. Brian was a maintenance manager at Windsor Foods in Oakland and attended First Baptist Church in Coffeeville. He was a graduate of Kirk Academy and Itawamba Community College. Brian was an avid golfer and classic car enthusiast.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Coffeeville with Rev. Truman Scarborough and Rev. Craig Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Elam Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday evening and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Alicyn Brooke Jones and Megan Elise Jones, both of Coffeeville; his parents; Debra Ann and Jerry Beckwith of Coffeeville; a sister, Kimberly Jones Allen and her husband, Jay of Lake Cormorant; grandmothers, Odis Jean Jones and Betty Sue Perkins, both of Coffeeville; an uncle, Terry Jones and his wife, Patricia of Coffeeville; one niece, Audrey Allen and one nephew, Jacob Allen.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerry Griffin Jones and grandparents, Hilliard Griffin Jones, James Aubrey Perkins and Gladys Perkins.
Pallbearers will be Jay Allen, Kenny Arrington, Tony Bell, Cody Jones, Adam Kirk, Ray Schmitz III and Jonathan Shaw.
Memorials may be directed to LeBonheur Children's Hospital.
