Mr. Carl Emil Hettich, 75, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 at his residence.  He was born December 23, 1947 in Ocean Port, NJ to Robert C. and Grace Reves Hettich.  Carl honorably served our country in the US Army and US Air Force.  While in service, Carl perfected his skills as a radio operator and later worked as a radio announcer.  Prior to retirement, he worked in management at an auto parts store and was proud to have obtained his pilot's license.  He was a member of Christ Community Church.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 27, 2023 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. John Goldwater and Bro. Hayden Wiggins officiating.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Monday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Janis Hettich of Grenada; two sons, Terry Hettich(Kelly) of High Point, NC and James Hettich of Florida; two daughters, Tammy Griffin(Bo) and Tonya Wiggins(David), both of Grenada; brother, Randy Hettich of Alabama; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Jon Hettich and Eric Hettich; daughter, Morgan Vickers; sister, Arlene Barrow and a brother, Steven Ray Doster.
