Mr. Carlton Jerome Peters, 71, of Elliott, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2026 at his residence. He was born January 26, 1955 in Grenada to Clyde James Peters, Sr. and Eva Newcomb Peters. Carlton had worked as a carpenter most of his life.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 3, 2026 at Woodlawn Cemetery with his nephew, Rev. Tim Lane officiating.

Survivors include his sister, Linda Lane(Andy) of Duck Hill and Clyde James “Buster” Peters, Jr.(Gail) of Elliott.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Clara Dowdle.
