Miss Carol Ann Hyde, 66, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.  She was born September 23, 1954 in Greenwood to Dr. William Thomas and Lola Mae Patridge Hyde.  Carol Ann was a graduate of the University of Mississippi and had a long, successful career spanning over 35 years as a Medical Technologist at Grenada Lake Medical Center.  She will be remembered for her love of dogs, gardening and Ole Miss Football.  Carol Ann attended First United Methodist Church in Grenada.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 12, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Daniel Herring officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.  Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.

Survivors include two sisters, Rosemary Hyde of Grenada and Kathy Hyde of Madison; one brother, Tommy Hyde and his wife, Cindy of Greenville, South Carolina; two nieces, Lauren Hornaday and Caroline Hyde; and a host of cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
