Mrs. Carolyn Ann Hendon Costilow, 79, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Grenada Living Center. She was born December 6, 1940 in Holcomb to Walter Fredrick and Lily Marie Clanton Hendon. Carolyn was a member of the Grenada Church of God where she served as church pianist for many years. She had a tremendous love for her church and Jesus and it was evident in her daily life. She retired after a long career as bookkeeper in the Grenada School District.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the Grenada Church of God with Rev. James McElroy and Rev. Rodney Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Sparta Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Saturday evening at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the Grenada Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Jacky Costilow; two daughters, Ramona Kitchens of Carrollton and Crystal Lyles of Hernando; two sons, Gary Costilow and Josh Costilow, both of Grenada; two sisters, Peggy Andrews of Grenada and Elaine Dungan of Carroll County; one brother, Clyde Hendon of Kentucky; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Cooley, Peyton Cooley, J.D. Costilow, Trevor Costilow, Jerremy Lucius and John Lucius.
