Mr. Charles Eugene Boyette, Jr., 70, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at his residence.  He was born May 25, 1952 in Starkville to Charles Eugene, Sr. and Ethel Edwards Boyette.  Charles was a graduate of Houston High School and earned his undergraduate and masters degrees from Mississippi State University.  Charles enjoyed a career spanning over 30 years as an Environmental Engineer at Georgia-Pacific.  He was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church in Grenada.  Charles will be lovingly remembered as a loving husband and an animal lover.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 2, 2022 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Bobby Taylor Vance and Rev. Don Howie officiating.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Denton Boyette; mother, Ethel Edwards Boyette of Steens; two daughters, Stephenie Booher(Dan) of Eads, TN and Tracie Stanford(Reid) of Grenada; son, Marcus Doss of Richland; sister, Michele Krowll(Ken) of Caledonia; eight grandchildren, Zora Barnes, Mia Parker, Gabriel Doss, Savannah Booher, Tristian Doss, Tara Booher, Tripp Parker and Sage Doss; and two great-grandchildren, Roland and Zola Barnes.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Stephen Boyette.
