Mr. Charles E. Duke, 83, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Providence Assisted Living.  He was born March 15, 1941 in Money to Irvin Loyd and Allie Mae Joiner Duke.  Charles was a member of Elliott Baptist Church and spent most of his working life as a truck driver hauling cattle all over the United States.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Michael Payton officiating.  Interment will follow in the Grenada Memorial Garden.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service Wednesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his daughter, Angie Lawrence(Danny) of Grenada; sister, Betty Jean Craft of Magee;  granddaughter, Paige McLaughlin Ballard of Kilmichael; and a great-grandson, Talon Ballard of Kilmichael.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ethel Duke; grandson, Eric McLaughlin and a brother, Buddy Duke.

Pallbearers will be Talon Ballard, Kenny Cottingham, Danny Craft, Glenn Duke, Robert Duke and Joe Ponder.
