Dr. Charles Thomas Haley, 70, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 at the Panola Medical Center in Batesville.  He was born January 19, 1950 in Clarksdale to Edgar Otis and Mary Elizabeth Gho Haley.  He was a graduate of Clarksdale High School and earned his undergraduate degree from Delta State University.  Chuck honorably served our country in the US Army where he was a Green Beret and served on the Golden Knights Parachute Team.  Following his stent in the US Army, he attended the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson and had practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology for many years in Grenada and most recently in Batesville.  He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Grenada.

A private service will be held at the All Saints Episcopal Church Columbarium in Grenada with Rev. Josh Messick officiating.

Survivors include his wife, May May Haley of Grenada; one son, Paul Julian Haley of Austin, TX; and one brother, Eddie Haley(Joan) of Senatobia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Billy Joe Haley.
