Mr. Charles Everette "Charlie" Hankins, Sr., died peacefully on Thursday September 2, 2021 at the age of 67.  He was born November 9, 1953 and was predeceased by his parents Juanita "Top" Kirk Hankins and A. Burton Hankins.  Charlie loved to fish and hunt. He always had a big garden and enjoyed sharing with everyone.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Aaron Chapman officiating.  Interment will follow in the Holcomb Cemetery.  Family and friends will gather from 1:30 PM until service time Sunday at McKibben and Guinn.

He is survived by three children, Heather Lane Hankins White (Gary) of Tuscumbia, Alabama; Charles "Chad" Hankins, Jr. of Holcomb, Mississippi; Lana Elizabeth Hankins of Grenada, Mississippi; five grandchildren, Jackson Denman Clark of Webb, Katherine "Katie" Elizabeth Hankins of Starkville, Andrew Macneal Clark of Tuscumbia, AL, Austin Lee Dunn of Grenada, and Shelby Grace White of Tuscumbia, AL; two sisters, Bonnie Hankins and Clara Hankins both of Grenada and two brothers, Al Hankins(Jewel) and Lee Hankins(Debbie) of Grenada.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Penn, Jr., Jason Dunn, Chris Armstrong, Matt Walters, Eddie Holland, and Richard Flautt.
