Mrs. Christine Cox Jolly, 81, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at her residence.  She was born January 21, 1936 to Charlie and Juanita Venable Cox.  She was a dedicated nurse and a talented pianist.  Mrs. Jolly was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be remembered as an excellent cook.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Grenada Memorial Gardens with Bro. Ken Salley officiating.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Dalton (Eddie) of Tupelo; two sons, Paul Jolly (Jane) of Oakland and Mark Jolly (Candis) of Clinton; one sister, Henryse Carpenter of Starkville; nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her faithful caregivers, Matthew and Jessica Jolly along with Lou Horton and Emma Mister.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvis Paul Jolly; two sons, Graymond Jolly and Sam Jolly and a sister, Ellen Brunt.
