Ms. Christine Fisk Melton, 92, of Grenada, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at her residence.  She was born May 29, 1927 in the Benwood Community of Yalobusha County to Chris and Alice Melton Fisk.  Christine worked for many years at Pennaco Hosiery and was a devoted member of the Grenada Church of God.

A graveside service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the New Hope Cemetery East of Coffeeville with Rev. James McElroy officiating.

Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Franklin of Jackson, Martha Harrison(Frank) of Grenada and Mary Melton of Grenada; four sons, Charles Melton(Bobbie) of Holcomb, Ronnie Melton of Grenada, Donnie Melton of Florida and Jimmy Melton of Grenada; one brother, Gene Fisk of Corpus Christi, TX; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Evelyn Johnson and Betty Collins; one son, Bobby Melton and her siblings.

Pallbearers will be Tim Fowler, Tommy Johnson, Glen Melton, Mike Melton, Sam Melton and Shawn Melton.
