Mrs. Clara Parker Smith, 85, of Coffeeville, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017. She was born February 4, 1932 in Water Valley to Jasper Felto and Ladell Dorris Parker. Clara retired after many years of service at Pennaco Hosiery. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Shiloh Cowboy Church near Coffeeville. Interment will follow in the Coffeeville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Sunday at the church.

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Smith of Coffeeville; two sons, Jimmy Smith (Deborah) of Coffeeville and David Smith (Vernelle) of Henderson, TN; one sister, Mildred Oathout of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchildren, Manda Crawford, John Nester, Jr., Christy Smith, Haley Smith, Parker Smith, Megan Smith and Ashley Brooke Hooper and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Smith.

Pallbearers will be Chester Ayers, Chase Crawford, Andy Fly, Eddie Fly, Wade Lindsey and John Nester.
