Mr. Curtis Lynn Adkins, 64, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019, in Carroll County. He was born October 5, 1954, in Bastrop, LA. While Curtis worked for many years at Resolute Forest Products he will be most remembered as a loving husband, father, friend and an avid outdoorsman.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 15, 2019, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.

He was preceded in death by his son, Trapper Adkins and parents Curtis Adkins and Mary George Nolan.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Adkins; two sons, Del Martin of Grenada and Chris Gunter (Brittney) of Hernando; two daughters, Elizabeth Martin of Detroit, MI, Christie Vance (Jeff) of Prattville, AL and; two sisters, Keitha Powell of West Monroe, LA and Melissa Adkins of Farmerville, LA; one brother, Carl Adkins of Sterlington, LA and six grandchildren, Gabe, Avery, Katelynn and Hannah Gunter and Dalton and Corbin Vance.
