Gwendolyn Odell McCharon "Dale" Crawford, 84, of Grenada passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 in Oxford. She was born October 24, 1934 to Silas McCharon and Gladys Pearl McGregor McCharon Taylor. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was an inspector for Pennaco Hosiery.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Mckibben & Guinn Funeral Service from 5:00-7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Survivors include her three children; Thomas Fisher "Tommy" Crawford of Hernando, Lisa Alford and Karol Haley of Grenada; six grandchildren, Christy Caulder, Ben Gillon, Stephanie Edmondson, Cory Crawford, Robert(River) Hemingway and Jessica Lynn Montz, and ten great grandchildren: sister Shirley Bishop of San Antonio and one step-sister Bonnie Baldwin of Tyler, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fisher C. Crawford, Jr., step-father Claude Taylor and a brother Thomas Harold McCharon.
Memorial may be made to First United Methodist Church.
