Mr. Danny Howard Simmons, 67, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at his residence.  He was born March 3, 1953 in Dyess, AR to James Howard and Lois McCallister Simmons.  He had spent most of his working life as a Supervisor in merchandising and sales.  Danny was a devoted member of the Grenada Church of the Nazarene.  He loved his dog, Wrinkles, riding the tractor and mower, and a good pan of cornbread.  He was a man that would give you all he had if he thought it would help you out.  He will be sorely missed.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 19, 2020 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until service time Monday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Moss Simmons of Grenada; mother, Lois Simmons of Grenada; daughter, Amanda Hood of Grenada; son, Jason Simmons(Jessica) of Grenada; two sisters, Shirley Hendricks of Grenada and Susan Hemphill of Gore Springs; and three grandchildren, Courtney McKee(Christopher), Ella Simmons and Rosemary Hood.

He was preceded in death by his father.
