Mr. Darrell Wayne Austin, 49, of Tillatoba, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Memphis. He was born May 20, 1968 in Grenada to Danny Ray and Elizabeth Doles Austin. Darrell had worked for over 20 years for AAA Cooper and most recently was self-employed as a log truck driver. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed riding horses.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Tillatoba Baptist Church with Rev. Rickey Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Austin Family Cemetery at Tillatoba. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 Wednesday evening at McKibben and Guinn and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.

Survivors include his son, Haygen Lane Austin of Tillatoba; his parents, Danny Ray and Libby Austin of Tillatoba, a sister, Christy Henson(David) of Grenada, niece Jordan Rutland and nephews Logan Henson and Hunter Rutland(Gina).

Pallbearers will be David Henson, Logan Henson, Jamie Pruett, Justin Rowland, Hunter Rutland and Doug Ward.
