Mr. David Gene Bell, 82, of Tillatoba, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.  He was born October 23, 1942 in Brazil to John Gray Bell and Adelene Walker Bell.  David was a graduate of West Tallahatchie High School and attended Mississippi Delta Community College.  He enjoyed a career spanning over 39 years at Entergy and currently worked for Storm Services.  David loved hunting, fishing and spending time with friends and family.  He also found great joy in growing a big garden each year and sharing the fruits of his labor with friends and family.

A time of remembrance will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 PM Thursday, April 3, 2025 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service.  Family and friends are welcome to come, reminisce and share stories of his remarkable life.

Survivors include his daughter, Donna Bell Malone; son, Robert Bell(Kelley); sister, Maxine Jones; brothers, Tom Bell(Linda), Paul Bell(Virginia) and Stevie Bell(Jane); nine grandchildren, Lane Malone, Robbie Bell, Scott Ross, Linzy Abraham, Hestin Tackett, Kaleb Hughes, Danielle Bennett, Victoria Arnold and Sara Herring; 21 great-grandchildren and his significant other, Lorine Parker.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 59 years, Jane Goasa Bell.
