IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David
Heath
March 3, 1947 – November 1, 2025
Mr. David Heath, of Elliott, MS, went to be with the Lord on Saturday November 1, 2025. David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
David is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Anne (Ward) Heath, his son Jamie Heath, daughter-in-law Maggie (Rowland) Heath and beloved grandchildren Charlie and Anna Grace Heath, of Germantown, TN. He is also survived by two siblings, Herman Heath (Frankie) and Janice Snell (Thomas) both of Elliott, MS. He is preceded in glory by his parents, Hamp and K.C. Heath, and his brother, William Heath and we take joy in knowing that David is reunited with them in Heaven.
David was an honorable and respected member of his community, a business owner, mechanic and cattle farmer. He graduated from J.Z. George High School in Carrollton, MS, held an automotive technical degree from Holmes Community College in Goodman, MS and went on to earn a Master Mechanic certification from General Motors. He worked for Cliff Colbert Chevrolet dealership in Grenada, before going on to open his own business, Heath's Auto Sales and Service, in Elliott. He also operated a successful cattle business.
David was a member of Elliott Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Young at Heart Sunday school class.
An avid antique car enthusiast, David restored several antique automobiles of his own, including his favorite, a 1939 Chevrolet pickup, which he enjoyed driving to car shows all over the Southeast. He was also a collector of Americana. He restored coin-operated Coca-Cola machines and accumulated a large collection of Coke memorabilia.
