Mr. David Lynn Jackson, 61, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Bossier City, LA.  He was born Monday, November 2, 1959 in Oktibbeha County to Jerry David and Mildred Lynn Kuykendall Jackson.  David had enjoyed a long, successful 32 year-long career at Resolute Forest Products as an Electrical Projects and Process Control Engineer.  He and his family attended First Baptist Church – Grenada.  He was a motorcycle enthusiast and also enjoyed playing golf.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Old Cumberland Cemetery in Webster County with Dr. John Boler officiating.  Masks are suggested to be worn and social distancing is respectfully requested.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Jackson; one daughter, Aleesha McDonald(Greg) of Grenada; two granddaughters, Aubree and Marlee McDonald of Grenada; his father, Jerry Jackson of Cumberland; one brother, Daney Jackson and his wife, Wendy of Port Matilda, PA; and three nieces, Carrie Everingham(Todd), Morgan Jackson and Ashley Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
