David Andrew Toney, a native of Grenada, Mississippi, passed away this week at the age of 63. Born on March 5, 1963, David graduated from Grenada High School and attended Delta State University. He went on to spend his working years in construction sales — a field that suited him well.

David is survived by his parents, Jerry O. Toney and Pattie M. Toney, both of Grenada, MS; brother, Jerry L. Toney (Christan) of Starkville, MS and their two children; son, Andrew Toney-Noland (Caroline) of Portland, OR; daughter, Allyn Hillerman (Andrew) of Memphis, TN; and four  grandchildren.

A private family service will be held Friday, August 7, 2026, at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Brother Barry Worrell officiating.

Andrew Toney-Noland, Jerry L. Toney, Parker Toney, Ricky Beck, Steve Middleton, and Andrew Hillerman will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church cemetary fund in Cadaretta, MS.
