Mr. Davis Turner Griffis, 65, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born June 30, 1953 in Grenada to Lee, Jr. and Claudine Turner Griffis. Davis had spent his life working in the family business at Griffis Oil Company, Griffis All-American Truck Stop at Tillatoba and the Pacesetter in Grenada. He was a devoted family man and a member of the Van Dorn Street Church of Christ.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 15, 2018 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jackie Hyneman Griffis; two daughters, Jennifer Fortenberry(David) of Madison, AL and Jessica Leigh Griffis of Clinton; one brother, Tommy Griffis of Grenada; and four grandchildren, Kate, Jackson, Grey and Eli Fortenberry.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
