Debra (Debbie) Morgan Houston, age 64, of Carrollton, MS passed away at home after her battle with cancer on November 20, 2019. Debbie was born on October 11, 1955 and grew up in Elliott, MS. Debbie married the love of her life, Ronnie Houston, on December 17, 1977.  They settled in Elliott, MS where they raised their two children Lee and Lindsey. Debbie lived in Elliott for 15 years before she and Ronnie moved their family to Carrollton, MS. Debbie was a member of Carrollton Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for grades 1 & 2.  She was actively involved in the North Mississippi Emmaus and Chrysalis community.

Debbie was a supportive wife, a loving mother, a devout Christian, and a cherished DD (grandmother).  She was proud of her family but most importantly she was over the moon to be DD to her two grandchildren, Jenilee and Emily.  Debbie adored the time that she spent with her family. Debbie was always on the go, whether it was starting a business, caring for family members, enjoying friends, being outdoors (specifically at the beach), selling real estate, participating in church activities (especially Operation Christmas Child), or just being with family.  For the last seven years, Debbie lived her life completely devoted to her two grandchildren.

Debbie is survived by her husband Ronnie, her children Lee (Jenifer) and Lindsey (Ramon), her two grandchildren Jenilee and Emily, her mother Margie Morgan, and her sister Janice Fowler Mann (Simon) and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her father James "Boo" Morgan.

Visitation will be held at Carrollton Baptist Church on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 1:00 – 3:00 followed by a memorial service in the church sanctuary.
