Mrs. Debra McClamrock Ray, 62, of Greenwood, formerly of Grenada, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 at her residence. She was born January 15, 1953 in Grenada to Kayo and Margaret Kincaid McClamrock. She was an active member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greenwood and a Founding Member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Grenada. Past member of the Board of Directors of the Junior Auxiliary of Grenada, the Grenada County Chamber of Commerce, the Holmes Community College "Lighting The Way Project", Grenada Lake Medical Center and Past-President of the Grenada Fine Arts Council. She previously co-owned the Children's Boutique, Celebrations Hallmark Card and Gift Shop, Novelty Shop and Quality Cleaners all in Grenada.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 4, 2016 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greenwood. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Grenada. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time Monday at the church.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Eddie Ray; one son, Marty Ray of Grenada; one granddaughter, Claire Ray; one grandson, Adams Ray; two brothers, Marcus McClamrock (Betty) of Jackson and Mike McClamrock (Cecilia) of Grenada; and her mother-in-law, Robbie Ray of Grenada.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gwen McClamrock.
